Though the Hiroshima/Nagasaki 75 Year Commemoration didn’t include a performance by the Raging Grannies, you can watch it here.
Lee Stanfield is song leader and writes many songs for the Tucson Raging Grannies which grew out of the Tucson WILPF Branch. Lee wrote and sings “Demand a Bill” on this video.
In the second part of the video we have Judith Henkewick, who is with the Tucson Raging Grannies in the winter and the Montreal Grannies the rest of the year. Judith’s husband died as a result of radiation poisoning from a nuclear test accident in 1962.
