Event Description:
A joyful, heartfelt, electrifying new musical infused with cumbia, bolero, and R&B-pop.
After being separated from her parents, Anita refuses to give up hope. At the Southwest Skies youth
shelter, her courage and resilience inspire the other girls to dream beyond their circumstances. With the
help of Luz, a savvy PR agent, Anita sets in motion a bold plan to reunite her family — despite the
formidable Miss Guardia’s efforts to stop her. Full of music, mischief, and hope, Anita celebrates the
strength of family and the healing power of community.
