Tucson Anti War Committee: No War with Venezuela! 4pm today at DMAFB!
In response to the illegal and unprovoked bombing attacks against the people of Venezuela, the Tucson Anti War Committee is calling all who support peace, justice, international law and humanity to an emergency rally outside the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, today January 3rd, 4pm at the corners of Golf Links and Craycroft. DMAFB is home to the Air Command of US SOUTHCOM which coordinates the Air Forces of the U.S. in the Caribbean and against Venezuela.
The sovereign nation of Venezuela holds the largest oil reserves in the world and the Trump administration is acting in service of U.S. oil corporations not the people. The proclamation from Trump that US forces kidnapped duly elected President Maduro is an unconscionable escalation and an egregious act of war. The Tucson Anti War Committee stands vehemently against these escalations and invites you to stand with us today.
