Russell Lowes Will Give a Presentation on Nuclear Energy at the Sierra Club Arizona/Grand Canyon Chapter Meeting of the Energy & Climate Action Team

The three biggest electric utilities in Arizona are trying to build more nuclear plants in Arizona.

Russell Lowes will be giving a presentation on why nuclear energy is not a reasonable way to proceed for Arizona and the U.S. It is not practical on a cost basis nor an ecological basis. He will explain how the nuclear energy option is the biggest threat of all the energy sources to the true clean energy transition of solar, energy efficiency, energy storage and management, and other renewables.

At the Sierra Club Arizona/Grand Canyon Chapter meeting of the Energy & Climate Action Team, he will discuss the cradle to grave costs, aka lifecycle costs, what each step is, and how it works.
