Election Defense Solidarity School
From Democracy Unites Us: As you know, Trump’s efforts to steal the midterm elections are speeding up—and so are our efforts to defend them. This is a race that may determine the fate of our democracy.
On Saturday, September 19, from 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., we are co-sponsoring an Election Defense Solidarity School with the unions of AZ Jobs With Justice, Derechos Humanos, and others.
In the morning, we will plan how to deal with some of the threats we expect locally. In the afternoon, we will role-play the situations we may actually face while defending these elections. We must get ready, build relationships and deepen the trust for us to work together before a crisis hits.
